NIRF Ranking 2024: nirfindia.org | Top Engineering Colleges
Indian government’s Ministry of Education established the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2015. This system ranks higher education institutions across the country. Launched on September 29th, 2015, NIRF was previously approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Instead of the long explanation, we can just say: NIRF stands for National Institutional Ranking Framework.
National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) is expected to release its engineering college rankings for 2024 on June 5th, 2024. While the data submission window closed on January 31st, 2024, you can visit the official NIRF website (nirfindia.org) to access these rankings once released.
20th May 2024: In the NIRF Ranking 2024, Indian Institute of Technology Madras secured the 1st position in Engineering and Management among colleges and universities.
18th May 2024: The National Institutional Ranking Framework, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has released its rankings, with the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore securing the top position.
17th May 2024:In the India Rankings conducted by NIRF, Jadavpur University secured the 10th position in Engineering.
16th May 2024 : The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has secured the #1 spot in the Management category of the latest NIRF Rankings.

When will NIRF Ranking 2024 be released?
The Ministry of Education is expected to release the NIRF Rankings for 2024 on June 5th, 2024 (tentative date). This ranking will cover engineering, management, pharmacy, medical, law, and architecture programs.
