NIRF Ranking 2024: | Top Engineering Colleges

Indian government’s Ministry of Education established the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2015. This system ranks higher education institutions across the country. Launched on September 29th, 2015, NIRF was previously approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Instead of the long explanation, we can just say: NIRF stands for National Institutional Ranking Framework.

National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) is expected to release its engineering college rankings for 2024 on June 14th, 2024. While the data submission window closed on January 31st, 2024, you can visit the official NIRF website ( to access these rankings once released.

19th June 2024: JSS College of Pharmacy is ranked 4th in India in the Pharmacy Rankings 2024.

18th June 2024: Panjab University has been ranked 25th among universities in India according to a specific ranking system (e.g., NIRF, QS World University Rankings) for 2024.

15th June 2024: Anna University ranked 13th in India for Engineering in 2024.

Top 50 Engineering Colleges in India

On June 5, 2024, the NIRF ranking for 2024 will be released. Getting into government-established institutes such as IITs, NITs, and Cultural Universities depends on how well you perform in nationwide exams like JEE-MAINS and state-level Higher Secondary exams. If you want to get into institutes like NISER and CBS college, you need to do well in the NEST exam. For admission to National Law Universities, you have to pass national-level exams like CLAT, which happen every year. And to enter recognized colleges like Manipal University, SRM University, or a religious belief University, you need to take the KIIT exam.
