Admission Process
SPPU Admission 2024 will begin in July. The university provides a variety of programs, with admission based either on merit or entrance exams. Here’s how different programs are handled:
- Undergraduate (UG) Programs:
- B.Sc: Admission will start soon, with courses available in Optometry, Scientific Instrumentation, Petroleum Technology, Pollution Environment, Electronics, and Energy Studies.
- LLB: Requires a graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
- B.Pharma: Requires a good score in the MHT-CET exam.
- Postgraduate (PG) Programs:
- MA/MFA: Admission based on merit; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
- MBA: Admission for Maharashtra candidates through MHT CET scores, and for non-Maharashtra candidates through CAT, MAT, ATMA, or XAT scores.
- M.Tech: Admission based on GATE scores or through the DTE Maharashtra MHT CET.
- MCS: Requires a BCS degree.
- PhD Programs:
- Registration will be conducted through the portal www.bcud.unipune.ac.in. Eligibility requires a master’s degree with at least 45% marks. Selection is based on an entrance test conducted by the university.
Application Process
To apply for admission:
- Visit the official SPPU website and choose the Admission Portal.

- Register by filling in the necessary details.

Entrance Examinations
SPPU conducts an Online Entrance Exam (OEE) for various UG and PG programs from July 21, 2024, to July 24, 2024 (Tentative). The exam will test applicants for courses like Applied BSc, BA, BBA, B.Voc, MPH, MLIS, LLM, M-Tech, MBA, EMBA, M.Com, MA, and MSc. The test will include 100 questions, with a 60-minute duration, and no negative marking.
