Indian government’s Ministry of Education established the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2015. This system ranks higher education institutions across the country. Launched on September 29th, 2015, NIRF was previously approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). Instead of the long explanation, we can just say: NIRF stands for National Institutional Ranking Framework.

National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) released its engineering college rankings for 2024 on August 13, 2024. While the data submission window closed on January 31st, 2024, you can visit the official NIRF website (nirfindia.org) to access these rankings once they are released.

For admission to National Law Universities, you have to pass national-level exams like CLAT, which happen every year.
