Lucknow University Admission 2024-25: Lucknow University is accepting applications for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the Session 2024-25. LU application deadline for undergraduate programs (BSc, BCA, BA, BBA, BFA, BCom etc.) is May 31st, 2024. These programs range from 2 years (BEd) to 5 years (integrated courses like LLB). Lucknow University also offers postgraduate programs (MA, MSc, MBA etc.) lasting two years.

For undergraduate programs, the minimum eligibility requirement is passing 10+2 with varying marks depending on the program (40-60%). Selection is based on LU entrance exams, aptitude tests, merit lists, and sometimes Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Lucknow University’s application process begun on March 2nd, 2024.

The application deadline for LU PhD programs was February 10th, 2024. LU entrance exam was held on February 24th and 25th, 2024.

17-10-24: The CUET UG Counselling process 2024 for admission to undergraduate courses is currently ongoing, conducted separately by the participating colleges. After the declaration of the CUET results, universities have initiated their counselling processes. Candidates who qualified in the CUET UG 2024 exam must register for counselling through the official websites of their respective universities.

Lucknow University (LU) removed rules that said you can only study certain subjects in postgraduate (PG) courses based on what you studied in your Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Now, if you have a BA degree, you can choose to study any subject for your Master of Science (MSc) degree, no matter what you studied before.

Lucknow University Admission 2024-25

Lucknow University considers merit, entrance exams, aptitude tests and interviews (for some courses) for admission to various UG and PG programs in 2024-25. Entrance exams are required for PG courses. Minimum eligibility is passing 10+2 with 40-60% marks (depending on the program). The LLM program is open to graduates from any recognized university. Lucknow University UG admission 2024-25

Lucknow University 2024 Counselling

Lucknow University has initiated the counselling process for UG courses starting from July 25, 2024, and for PG courses from August 9, 2024. Only shortlisted candidates from the entrance exam are eligible to participate, and it is mandatory for all qualified candidates to attend. During counselling, candidates can choose their preferred institute and course specialization, with document verification required for seat allotment based on merit and choice.

Lucknow University B.Ed admission 2024-25

Lucknow University doesn’t conduct a B.Ed entrance exam itself. Instead, admissions for B.Ed. programs offered by colleges affiliated to Lucknow University are based on a separate state-level entrance exam (JEE B.Ed) with applications opening in February and closing in March for July admissions. The application fee varies between INR 750 and INR 1500. You can find results and admit cards on the University website.

Lucknow University BBA admission 2024-25

Lucknow University offers a BBA program (Bachelor of Business Administration) for students interested in pursuing a career in business management. The application deadline for LU’s BBA program is July 6, 2024. To be eligible, you’ll need to have passed your 10+2 exams (or be appearing for them in 2024) with a minimum score of 40% (general category) or 36% (reserved category). Selection is based on the Lucknow University Entrance Exam (LU Entrance Exam), which tests your skills in Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Business Awareness. The entrance exam is scheduled for July 25th, 2024.
